Cuba is at the center of our organization’s work, because changing U.S. policy toward Cuba would have a beneficial and lasting impact on both U.S. and Cuban society, and would signal to Latin America that the United States is ready to engage once again with the region, its problems and its people.
CDA has testified before the U.S. Congress on proposals for engagement with Cuba, and published commentaries on Cuba in the Washington Post, the Washington Times, and other traditional and new media publications. We have brought authentic voices from Cuba to visit the offices of policy makers in Congress and the Executive Branch. We publish a widely distributed and respected news summary that is read every week by senior decision makers and journalists, academics and activists, and people in the United States and throughout the region.
