TRIPS

The Center for Democracy in the Americas is a leader in bringing high-level delegations on fact-finding and trade missions to Cuba. Since our founding in 2006, CDA has led more than 70 trips to Cuba for bipartisan delegations of Members of the Senate and House, Governors and Mayors, CEOs, trade associations, and leaders in philanthropy, women’s issues, and the arts. Our travelers learn firsthand about the impact of U.S. policy on the Cuban people and engage in a wide variety of meetings to understand the general political, economic, and social climate in Cuba. CDA has a history of engagement with Cuba that spans over a decade, providing us with a unique portfolio of relationships that contribute to the depth and richness of CDA delegation itineraries.
